Indore: BJP candidate Shankar Lalwani on Tuesday said that Congress party is nurturing terrorists and traitors in the country.Addressing a public rally during his election campaign in Indore assembly constituency-3, Lalwani said some people observe birth anniversary of terrorist Afzal Guru and raised slogans to break the nation in JNU. “But Congress president Rahul Gandhi supported them by terming it a freedom of speech,” he remarked. Lalwani said Congress leaders have supported Kanhaiyya Kumar and those involved in anti-national activities.
“Congress is nurturing terrorists and traitors by demanding elimination of sedition laws,” Lalwani said. Speaking on the occasion, Indore-3 MLA Akash Vijayvargiya targeted state government and said chief minister Kamal Nath made false promises to youths to get votes. “Congress claimed to provide job and Rs 4000 unemployment allowance to youths but now is giving training on cattle grazing. They stand exposed and people will not give them another chance,” Vijayvargiya said. Lalwani began election campaign from Chandrabhaga area and visited Murai Mohalla, Gadi Adda, Juni Indore, Agrawal Nagar. It concluded at Pawanpuri. He will campaign in rural areas in Depalpur on Wednesday.
