Commissioner Akash Tripathi and Collector Lokesh Kumar Jatav conducted a surprise inspection at Procurement centres of Barlai village and Sanwer on Thursday. They gave necessary directions to the employees associated with procurement process. He said the basic facilities of drinking water, electronic measures and humidity measurement equipment etc. should be present and in working conditions at procurement centres. He said more and more wheat should be purchased from farmers.
Commissioner Tripathi alerted officials that farmers should not have any problem. He got point-wise information regarding the payments, receipts and support price from Food Controller Lonia Mujalda. Mujalda informed them that farmers will be paid online. Good quality wheat will be purchased after sorting at the centers. The purchase information is given to the farmers through SMSes. A centre has been created between 14 villages on an average. In Bareli, wheat is being stored in silos and in Sanwer in warehouses.
