IMC carries out drive against encroachment

Indore: The anti-encroachment team of Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) removed encroachment from Ranipura area on Monday.  As per information, the Indore civic body team reached house of Ashok Tejawani  located at 148, Ranipura main road at 9:45am and demolished columns etc constructed to carry out further development on the floor. It is found that Tejwanis have a shop on the ground floor and was allegedly planning further constructions in the building without informing the Indore Municipal Corporation, which the IMC’s anti-encroachment team removed.

The departmental sources said that before carrying out any constructions whether new or developing some work on old premise must be informed to the IMC and proper permissions must be taken. Sources added that if the formalities were not completed or not even processed than the IMC reserves the right to remove encroachments done anywhere in the city.
