Indore: With an objective to create awareness about terrorism, Indian Institute of Management Indore community members observed Anti- Terrorism Day on Tuesday. Faculty and staff members gathered to promote peace, humanity and unity among the citizens of our country. The event commenced with welcome address by IIM Indore safety officer Jigar Kantharia who shared the purpose of the pledge.
Sharing his views on terrorism, Col (retired) Gururaj Gopinath Pamidi, CAO, IIM Indore, said Indian citizens should observe anti-terrorism day every day and remain aware about our surroundings and the happenings. “We need to change the mentality that being a citizen, we do not have any duty towards the nation and that terrorism is something to be taken care of only by the intelligence and security agencies.
Remain alert and help the nation to fight terrorism,” he said. The IIM Indore community then took a pledge to oppose all forms of terrorism, violence and uphold and promote peace, social harmony and understanding among all the human beings.
