Dewas : The present crop insurance scheme is providing benefits to the insurance companies, not to the farmers. Madhya Pradesh Government will make such a crop insurance policy, so the farmers can get sufficient amount in adverse situation for surviving. Government is talking to the insurance companies for this and the insurance companies would not agree for that, the State Government will form a farmer welfare cell, which will provide sufficient amount to the farmers in adverse conditions. This was said by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan during the inspection of wheat procurement centre at Kamalapur village of Dewas district.
