IDA governing board meeting held

Indore: The cost of homes built for poor people should not increase otherwise these homes would become out of reach for them. This was observed during the governing board meeting of Indore Development Authority ( IDA) on Monday at its auditorium.

IDA chairman Shankar Lalwani, district collector Akash Tripathi, IMC commissioner Rakesh Singh, IDA CEO Deepak Singh and other officials were present on the occasion.In the meeting it was observed that the 5 year old Detailed Project Report ( DPR) of super corridor has to be revised in the light of recent developments.This report has to be sent to Central government via State government.

Concern was expressed over delay in the construction of Kesarbaag Bridge and instructions were released for quickening up of the process.Regarding sale of two plots in scheme 71, sectorone, another round of tenders would be invited to increase the sale value.Presently highest bid of Rs 1.31 crore has been received.

For the 14 shops of scheme 78, 3 applicants have been shortlisted after invitation of tenders. For remaining shops, more tenders would be invited. Regarding sell of 12 plots in scheme 78 part 2, for PSP usage, it was decided to sell them to applicants shortlisted after inviting tenders.

IDA would earn Rs 10 crore from the sell of these 12 plots.A policy guideline would be prepared for sell of property of the IDA. Bigger properties would be sold at a profit while smaller properties would be sold at no profit no loss situation.

Information has been sought from registrar office for reviewing the accusation that land allotted to tea merchants has been used for making mall.Action would be taken after confirmation of report from registrar office. Lease period would be extended for those whose lease deadline has expired.Action would also be taken against those who have used the land for purpose other than mentioned in the lease agreement.

Approval was given for revised cost of IT Building in Electronics complex in Pardeshipura area.The updated cost is Rs 38.27 crore. The new building would be two basements and G+ 5. tenders would again be invited for the electrification task in the outskirts of Reti Mandi in scheme 97 part 4.Revised cost of construction of six buildings in scheme 78 part 1 phase 2 was also approved on the occasion.

21 leases cancelled in New Loha Mandi

A 15- day notice would be given to 21 plot owners in new Loha Mandi for not taking any initiative for development in the market. These owners have neither taken any NOC from the authority nor got approved map from Municipal Corporation.Information has also been sought from registrar office for finding out which businessmen have sold their lease plot to others.
