Indore : Vijay Nagar Police Station became operational within 12 hours after army men vandalised the police station on Thursday morning. The staff, shaken by the incident, is also recovering from their shock. Army men reportedly dragged the police officials and beat them up.
According to TI Chhatarpal Singh Solanki the army men had also damaged three computers along with a wireless set. The equipment has been repaired and restored and work has been resumed at the police station.
The cops injured in the brawl have been given leave to recover. The police will record their statements to move forward in the investigation. They are also sifting through CCTV footage for evidence.
