Indore: The Sun played hide and seek throughout Sunday. Despite cloudy weather, there was no rain in the city. However, the temperature remained bearable.
The Met department has forecast moderate to heavy rains accompanied with hailstorm in some parts of Indore, Ujjain, Hoshangabad and Bhopal divisions in next two days. The change in weather is due to development of cyclone in Afghanistan and Pakistan and moisture it is carrying. New Delhi and Srinagar are experiencing rains while Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Jamunotri are experiencing rare snowfall. The drop in temperature in north affects the weather in Indore. The city is likely to experience light showers of 45 minute. The city recorded 37 degrees Celsius during the day and 21.8 degrees Celsius during the night. 0.8 mm rainfall in some parts of the city was also recorded.
