Indore : City lad Shivam Swarnkar topped national level Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT), results of which were announced by All India Council for Technical Education late on Thursday night.
A student of Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS), Shivam scored 242 marks out of 500 and clinched top position in the country.
“This is the first time any student from the state stood first in this test and it’s also the first time for SGSITS,” SGSITS media incharge MPS Chawla said.
Similarly, Devendra Singh Meena got AIR-15, Radha Savner AIR-32 and Vishu Jain AIR-41, all students of SGSITS.
Chawla said that five students of the institute figured in the list of top 100 and nine students in top-200.
GPAT and common management admission test (CMAT) were conducted by the AICTE on January 17. Results of both the exams were announced late on Thursday night.
Many students from the city emerged with flying colours in CMAT also which is conducted for admission in MBA courses across the nation.
