Senior congress leader and PWD minister Sajjan Singh Verma targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Main Bhi Chowkidar campaign and said after luring ‘Chaiwalas,’ Modi has started luring the chowkidars. “Now, no talk about Chaiwala and only Chowkidar is everywhere. Congress’ ‘Chowkidar Chor Hai’ is not a jumla but it has been proved that the biggest Chowkidar of the country is a ‘chor’.

He has profited Rs 30,000 crores to Anil Ambani in Rafale Deal and after being exposed all the Chor’s turned into Chowkidar,’ Verma said while addressing Congress leaders and activists during a meeting at party office on Saturday. He also spoke about Prime Minister’s marriage and other issues as well. The PWD minister also targeted his own party again by saying that they have not taken Indore seat seriously.

“We do not prepare a leader for five years but start searching them during elections. Party should take the seat seriously as we have the chances to win elections this time,” Verma said. Meanwhile, sports minister Jitu Patwari too targeted Indore’s Member of Parliament Sumitra Mahajan and said that she is inactive and did nothing for the city. “City must have gone to the heights of development on having same MP for more than 35 years. Now, Mahajan has turned 80 and she should not work,” Patwari said.

MLA will not get MP’s ticket
Sajjan Singh Verma also said that no MLA will get an MP ticket from the party. “Anyone can ask for ticket but it has already been cleared that no MLA will get MP’s ticket,” Verma said. His statement is contrary to Patwari’s statement who had said that he will contest election if party asks him for the same.
