Indore : Students were relieved at the sight of their first main Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class X board paper, which was lengthy but easy to solve as they shared with Free Press reporter after the Science exam, on Wednesday.

The wave of nervousness vanished from the examination hall after the papers were distributed. Students felt relieved on discovering that all the questions were from their prescribed syllabus and easy to answer.

In conversation with our reporter, Bhawans Prominent School student attempting board exams at the Delhi Public School, Swati Mehtani said, “The paper was easy, and most of the questions were taken from the NCERT book.”

Mehtani explained that she expected Physics to be tough, which was easy but lengthy. “I left 3 marks question, because it took a lot of time to make ray diagrams, but I am happy considering I was so nervous before the exam,” she said.

Another student attempting the paper Suyash Rajput said, “I find Chemistry tougher as compared to Biology, but luckily the paper tested the basic knowledge of chemical reactions, which was easy.”

Talking about their experience of board examination, Yug Pratap Singh shared, “The idea of giving board papers makes me nervous, plus the first paper was Science, which multiplied my nervousness.”

Adding to his experience of giving board examination, Singh quoted that the paper went well and another relief is that the toughest paper is out, and that takes a huge burden off.

The students headed back with relieved smiles to prepare for their next paper, i.e. Hindi on March 8.
