Bhopal: Governor Anandiben praises Sudarshan Chakra Corps' service during Covid pandemic

BHOPAL: Lt Gen Atulya Solankey, GOC of Sudarshan Chakra Corps, met Governor Anandiben Patel on Friday.

During the interaction, the Governor mentioned about the contribution of the Sudarshan Chakra Corps in helping the states of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh during the current Covid-19 pandemic situation in which relief was provided to many civilians through the establishment of Adhoc Isolation Centres for civilian patients at Bhopal, Sagar and Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh and Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh. She also praised the Corps service in repair of critical life saving equipment in civil hospitals and†provision of essentials, medicines and equipment at various locations in these two states.

She also complimented the Indian Army and DRDO in their professional†approach and prompt response in establishment of a dedicated Covid Care Hospital at Lucknow. The same helped in saving many precious human lives during the second Covid wave.

Lt Gen thanked the governor for all the help and support given to Sudarshan Chakra Corps by the local civil administration in the states of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
