Barwani (Madhya Pradesh): Keeping in view how Ayurvedic medicines helped to combat corona pandemic, a herbal garden is being developed in collectorate premises by Ayush Department.

The process of displaying their names and planting more than 100 medicinal saplings is underway. According to District Ayush Officer Dr HS Tomar, medicinal plants that grow naturally in Nimad region will find place in herbal garden.

The people can get medicinal saplings planted, if they have any, through the district Ayush department in the garden. Also, such medicinal plants which are known to all but have not been seen will also find place in the garden.

The work to develop herbal garden began few days back by collector Shivraj Singh Verma who planted a sapling. Along with fountains, benches will also be set up in the garden.
