Indore : Election preparation of Association of Industries of MP (AIMP), an apex representative body of the SMEs of the state, has been started. This time both the panels are gearing up for the polls.
Though, the election of AIMP is scheduled in September, both the panels have started their preparations. They are trying to attract industrialists to their side.
The major issue in the election could be the view point of the panels on the issue of recently introduced Industrial building and land management law. Under the new law the rate of the land have been increased, that has created a great anger among the industrialist fraternity. The non completion of the roads construction in the industrial areas and also status quo of the development work is also a prominent election issue.
The official announcement of the date of the election would be declared in the meeting of the executive committee and accordingly the AGM would be called and also declare the election program. However, both the panels have started the tapping the members. The progressive panel, which won the election last election, interacted with the members in an informal meeting held in a hotel. During the meeting the strategy of the winning the election was also discussed.
Coordinator of the Industrial Development Panel Ashok Jaiswal and Madhusudan Bhallika are executive member in the present executive committee. According to panel coordinator Ashok Jaiswal, they have started the preparation of the election too.
It may be recalled that AIMP is the apex representative body of the all SMEs of the state having more than 2200 members across the state. The president of the AIMP is honorary member in the Zonal Railway Users Consultative Committee.
