Indore : In a crucial election of Association of Industries of Madhya Pradesh (AIMP), senior industrialist OP Dhoot elected president while young industrialist Yogesh Mehta secretary.
After the hectic rounds of the meetings, the names of new office-bearers were announced on Thursday late night. A meeting of all the newly elected members of the AIMP was held at AIMP office to elect the new office-bearers of the industry body for the year 2015-2017. Yogesh Mehta, who is elected as the secretary, released the names of new body.
Industry sources said that just before the release of the list of AIMP new office-bearers, intense discussion was held on candidate for the post of president and secretary. Finaly, senior industrialist OP Dhoot and young industrialist Yogesh Metha were unanimously elected president and secretary respectively.
Dhoot is the Managing Director of Omega Industries, a leading auto component manufacturing unit of MP. He is considered as an expert in the auto industry with vast experience.
