ADG directs SPs to act swiftly in Medico-Legal cases

Indore : For retrieving organs from the deceased in medico-legal cases, Additional Director General of Police and Inspector General of Police (Indore Range) Vipin Maheshwari directed all the Superintendent of Police in Indore Division to direct the Station In-charges to act swiftly in completing the legal procedure so that organs can be taken in time.

In his letter, the ADG asks the cops to help the doctors and authorities concerned in completing the procedure of post-mortem and to register the case swiftly so that the organs can be retrieved.

Maheshwari also directed the SPs and Station in-charges to keep in constant touch with the civil surgeons and other concerned doctors so that the organs could transplant properly.

The letter by the ADG was issued on the request of Divisional Commissioner Sanjay Dubey to direct the cops to help the doctors in getting the organs.
