Ravi Shankar Prasad takes charge as Law Minister

New Delhi: The newly appointed Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad took charge of the ministry on Wednesday.

Prasad succeeds D.V. Sadananda Gowda, who was moved to the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation in the reshuffle and expansion of the Union Cabinet on Tuesday.

Prasad was earlier moved out of the Law Ministry in November 2015.
