Jammu & Kashmir: 5 dead as vehicle falls into gorge after colliding with another; PM Modi offers condolences

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday expressed condolences to the families of those killed after a vehicle fell into a valley in Jammu and Kashmir.

"Pained by the loss of lives due to an accident in Ramban, Jammu and Kashmir. Condolences to those who lost their loved ones. I pray that the injured recover soon", PM Modi's office wrote.

On Friday, five people died and five others were injured in Ramban in Jammu and Kashmir after a vehicle fell into a valley after two vehicles collided with each other on NH44.

The deceased were travelling to Neel Ramsu from Rambas when their vehicle collided with another vehicle coming from opposite direction.

Ramban Superintendent said, "Victims were travelling from Ramban to Neel Ramsu. Their vehicle collided with another vehicle coming from opposite direction".
