In a shocking incident in Jharkhand's Palamu district, a 65-year-old man was found on a track near Sigsigi railway cabin on Wednesday morning with his mouth stitched.
Bhola Ram, a resident of Bhitihara village of Untari Road police station, was found on the railway track with his hands and feet tied, and mouth stitched, says a report by Aaj Tak.
Around 5 am on Wednesday, a villager who went to the track to defecate saw Bhola Ram lying there. He alerted other villagers who called the police. Police then took him to a private clinic.
As per the report, Bhola Ram told the police that he had woken up at night to urinate when he was caught by some people.
He said that his wife Savita Devi, her son from her previous marriage, and two others assaulted him. They forcibly stitched his mouth, tied his hands and feet with a rope, and threw him on the railway track around 11 pm on Tuesday.
Police from the Untari Road police are currently investigating the case.
