India's COVID-19 case toll drops below 2 lakh mark: 1,96,427 test positive, 3,511 deaths reported in last 24 hours

For the first time in weeks, India's COVID-19 case tally on Tuesday dropped below the two lakh mark, even as the number of discharges remained above three lakhs. As per data from the Health Ministry, India reported 1,96,427 new cases and 3,511 deaths in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 3,26,850 people were discharged.
