Bengaluru: The city is expected to experience heavy rainfall in the coming days. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), temperatures have risen unexpectedly. However, the weather remains cool in the mornings. The IMD forecasts that temperatures will likely increase in the next few days. The city witnessed sunrise at 6:45 AM, and sunset is expected at 6:22 PM.
On February 5, 2025, the minimum and maximum temperatures are predicted to range between 16 degrees Celsius and 31 degrees Celsius. The skies are expected to be partly cloudy, and this condition is likely to persist throughout the day.
Due to a low-pressure system over the Bay of Bengal, the IMD has forecast heavy rainfall in the coming days in Kodagu, Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Mysuru, Chikkamagaluru, Chamarajanagar, and Hassan.

Meanwhile, cold waves and dry weather are anticipated in several regions of Karnataka, including Uttara Kannada, Gadag, Kolar, Ramanagara, Shivamogga, Vijayanagar, Haveri, Belagavi, Bagalkot, Dharwad, Koppal, Mandya, and Yadgir. According to the IMD report, Bengaluru recorded a maximum temperature of 31.9 degrees Celsius on Monday.
