Versatile actress Vidya Balan, who was last seen on the big screen in ‘Bobby Jassos’, says that she is looking forward to shoot Mohit Suri’s ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ now. It’s noted that the film is penned by Mahesh Bhatt and is reportedly based on Bhatt’s. What’s more, the actress said that this film would be her second intense love story, after her debut film ‘Parineeta’.
Talking about ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ which would go on floors in October, Vidya said, “I try and give every character I play a particular look. So this (‘Hamari…’) is definitely towards that…we are preparing for it… All I can say is that it is an intense love story and I haven’t done (such) a love story after ‘Parineeta’, and so I am looking forward to it.”
The 35 year old actress added saying that she is particularly excited to work with Suri, while this would be the third time she would be working with her co-star Emraan Hashmi. “Mohit Suri is a director whose work I have always enjoyed immensely. (Mahesh) Bhatt saab is writing the script, so it’s all come together beautifully,” she said.
“Working with Emraan always feels good. This would be our third film together,” Vidya added. It’s noted that the duo have worked together earlier in films including ‘The Dirty Picture’ and ‘Ghanchakkar’. Meanwhile, ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ is scheduled for a June release next year.
