Ranveer Allahbadia"What if we put this same energy into fighting real problems-If we stood together for those things, maybe we wouldn't still be a *developing* country -we'd be *developed*," he added.

The National Commission for Women (NCW) on Tuesday expressed strong concern over the derogatory comment made by YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia and others on the comedy show India's Got Latent, summoning them on February 17 as the latest development in the controversy.

On Tuesday, the Maharashtra Cyber Department registered an FIR against India's Got Latent. According to an official, the case has been filed under relevant sections of the IT Act, and authorities have sought the removal of all 18 episodes of the comedy show.

During its probe, the Cyber Department found that participants, guests, and others associated with the show used "vulgar and obscene" language. The department has now shortlisted individuals, including judges and guests, for further action, the official added.
