Tiger Shroff recently released Karan Johar’s Student of the Year 2 and is already gearing up for his next big project with his idol Hrithik Roshan. During an interview with Hindustan Times, Tiger opened up about facing his idol and working with him. The actor confessed he calls himself ‘gareebo ka Hrithik Roshan’
Tiger often expresses his admiration for Hrithik when asked about the much awaited dance of in their upcoming film, he said, “I am intimidated by him. My next film is my biggest challenge, I am facing my hero… I call myself gareebo ka Hrithik Roshan, so there is already a comparison there (smiles). It’s an honour for me to stand in the same frame as him. We are yet to shoot the dance-off. It’s too hot right now so we have postponed it. But I am both excited and jittery about it.”
Tiger has also received offers for his debut in Hollywood. Lawrence Kasanoff, producer of the Mortal Kombat series reportedly made a hush-hush visit to Mumbai discussed a project with Tiger but nothing has been confirmed. When asked what’s stopping him from taking Hollywood projects he said, “Nothing is stopping me. I may end up doing one soon. But right now, it’s in the initial stages, discussions are on and I can’t talk about it. It’s an action film… Let’s see when can we get things going,” he says.
While the audience and not too impressed with SOTY 2, Tiger says he is happy with the way the film is being received. “We are very grateful for the opening our film has got and are especially grateful to everyone who supported and showered love on our film.”
Tiger will be seen next in ‘Bagghi 3’ alongside Shraddha Kapoor as his rebel partner.
