Popular 90s actress Mayoori Kango may have taken a sabbatical from acting but has continued her professional work front that has led to her becoming the new Google India industry head.
The actress is fondly remembered for films like ‘Papa Kehte Hain’, ‘Betaabi’, ‘Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet’, ‘Badal’ and ‘Papa the Great’. At the age of 15 she chose films over being enrolled in IIT Kanpur and made her debut with National Award-winning film ‘Naseem’. Apart from that, she also also worked in television shows such as ‘Kaahin Kissii Roz’, ‘Kittie Party’, ‘Kkusum’ and ‘Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat’.
Despite all the fame, she packed her bags and moved to US post marriage to Aditya Dhillon in 2003. Furthermore, she pursued a Masters degree in Business Administration in marketing and finance from City University of New York-Baruch College – Zicklin School of Business.
According to reports she began her second career with a New York City-based digital agency called 360i as an associate media manager.
