Aamir Khan especially flew down to Hyderabad on Sunday, July 6, 2025, to name actor Vishnu Vishal and badminton player Jwala Gutta's daughter. The Sitaare Zameen Par actor named the little munchkin, Mira. Vishnu and Jwala, both took to social media to make an announcement about the name and reveal that it was given by Aamir.
Vishnu posted on Instagram, "Introducing our MIRA... A big hug to #AamirKhan sir for coming all the way to hyderabad to name our baby. MIRA represents unconditional love and peace. The journey with Aamir sir to this point has been a magical one... Thank you Aamir sir for giving our daughter a beautiful name (sic)."
Jwala also shared, "Our ‘Mira’! Couldn’t have asked for more!! This journey would have been impossible without u Aamir!! We love you P.S Thank you for the beautiful name!!!!"
Aamir Khan And Vishnu Vishal's Friendship
The two actors have been friends for the past few years. In 2023, they were stuck in Chennai during the floods, and were rescued together.
While talking about it, during an interview with Suryan FM, Vishnu had stated, "I had lost my phone signal. A day after the rains stopped, the water levels started rising and we got scared. If it reaches the first floor, then we wouldn't have be able to step out. That's when I posted on X. Those who knew where I lived helped me get a boat. Aamir Khan sir was in the area. He was staying here to care of his mother. I helped him in whatever way I could."
