If you ask Tanuj Virani what is his idea of complete bliss, he says music. Every time he needs to come to terms with anything music has helped him. “Yes, I love it, need it. I don’t have a particular genre that I favour, I listen to everything. Be it hip hop, EDM, hindi music. I am love music soundtracks. I find them very stimulating….” even item numbers??? Well, it has to be asked, we want to know all when someone’s ready to talk
“A crazy fun number doesn’t hurt. I especially like those that take the story forward it some way. Let’s face it, there is no better dance music than a good hindi dance number. Those who claim to be above these item numbers and stuff, two drinks down, confess undying love for Honey Singh. So I don’t think there is anything wrong with item numbers,” he amended. So which are the songs that really stimulate him. “Well not item numbers, they are good at the gym though. But jokes apart, it is a fact that music in general has a deep impact on me. Music is my best friend. I am fortunate to be living by the sea, and watching the waves with some good music, there is nothing more I could want.”
Now if that doesn’t sound romantic, nothing ever would. Given he is soon to be seen in a film titled ONE NIGHT STAND, and all these romantic ideas propping into his mind, might really be sending mix feelings to his girl. Does he realise that he is at heart a romantic?
With a shrug he admits, “I believe I am romantic. But I would prefer to think I am a good blend of a practical mind and a romantic heart.”
