It is a big day for the gorgeous young woman, Nyra Banerjee. Her One Night Stand hits the screens and as is evident from the promotional campaign of the Jasmine D’Souza directed film, she has a very good role in the film alongside Sunny Leone. The publicity material has placed her quite prominently alongside Sunny and the leading man Tanuj Virwani (who plays her husband in the film) as a result of which there is good intrigue build up around how this relationship triangle works out in the narrative.

“Sunny and I do have a few scenes together in the film and thankfully they have come out well due to the camaraderie we both share,” says Nyra, “A lot of people have asked me if the two of us have a face/off of sorts in the film. Well, let me keep that for the speculation. There is a lot of drama is there though. One of the highlights of the film is an intense scene that the two of us share. We both are equally evolved in that scene.”

While one waits to see how the scene turns out to be, Nyra reveals that a lot of preparation went in ensuring that the scene turns out to be quite powerful.

“All I can say for now is that it had to be dealt with a lot of courage. For both Sunny and I, the scene is really important. We had to come on the same page. Unfortunately, I had hurt my neck on that day, due to which I couldn’t do any sort of physical movement at all. I found Sunny to be really cute and sweet to help me out during the physical rehearsal. I was very touched by this gesture. Our bonding became better.”

Another woman who Nyra truly admires after working in One Night Stand is her director.

“I always like to seek proper guidance and approval from my director and that’s the reason why I have done justice to my role and the film. Jasmine made sure that I thoroughly understood what she wanted from me and I delivered as expected. She made sure that I was in full control in front of the camera,” says Nyra.

Today, she looks back at the year long journey of making the film with a lot of pride and satisfaction.

“If I didn’t have my heart in there, I wouldn’t have been able to give my 100%,” smiles Nyra, “This film is not complete without any one of the three actors, be it Sunny, Tanuj or me. If my emotions were not important and powerful in the film, I wouldn’t have done the film. Moreover, if I wouldn’t have been able to get it all right for the screen, the film wouldn’t have been able to stand strong. Yes, the film has Sunny in a pivotal role but that doesn’t make me insecure at all. I am content.”
