If there is one person who has every reason to be on cloud none, then, it has to be Bollywood’s ‘Sultan’ Salman Khan himself. While on one hand, his recently released film Sultan is going great guns, on the other hand, Salman Khan has already kick-started his yet another social initiative.
This time round, its BMC (Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation) and its tree plantation drive. Yesterday, Salman Khan took to twitter and tweeted, “BMC is planing 2 crore trees all over Maharashtra.. How cool ! #TreePlantation”. He also posted photographs wherein he was planting saplings amidst the crowd who had gathered to witness the event.
Readers may recall that the Maharashtra government had recently laid out a plan as a part of ‘Vanamahotsav 2016-17’ initiative. And the plantation of 2 crore trees all over Maharashtra was an integral part of the said initiative.
