In a sudden turn of events which may surprise a lot of TV viewers and celebrities, Raqesh Bapat and Ridhi Dogra who were married to each other for seven years have amicably decided to separate.
Rumours of their marriage hitting troubled waters were going on, as the duo from quite some time neither posted pictures with each other on social media nor were they spotted together at any social gathering.
They confirmed their separation by issuing a joint statement which read as “Yes, we are living separately. This decision has been taken with mutual respect and care for each other and our families. We are two best friends who may not be a couple anymore. But our friendship will continue as it always has, through thick and thin. Appreciate if no further speculation is made and heartfelt gratitude to everyone for all the love you have always given us.”
It is stated that Ridhi and Raqesh’s close friends which includes Asha Negi, Sargun Mehta, Ravi Dubey, Rithvik Dhanjani tried their best to sort things between the couple but apparently things didn’t fall in place.
Ridhi and Raqesh met each other on the sets of TV show Maryada Lekin Kab Tak in 2010. The couple instantly fell for each other and after dating for a year married each other in 2011.
On work front, Ridhi Dogra will be next seen in a short film ‘Therapist’ which is based on the sensitive topic of rape. Raqesh on the other hand, will be next seen in Marathi film Savita Damodar Paranjpe.
