Balaji Telefilms CEO says it’s all rumours

‘Shootout At Wadala’ is the talk of the town what with rumours that Priyanka Chopra is said to have charged an exorbitant sum for the item number she is performing in the film. She is all set to turn the ‘Babli badmash’ for this number and has demanded nothing less than Rs 2.8 crore for the number.

Priyanka has managed to take some time from her busy schedule as she is juggling shooting between ‘Zanjeer’ and ‘Gunday’, for this item number.

Tanuj Garg, Chief Executive Officer Balaji Telefilms, says, “Whatever amount has been quoted is absolutely untrue. However, with this song we will begin our film promotions. We do not reveal the remunerations of any actor. The amount involved in the expenditure for different aspects of film making is a matter to be discussed within the production house.”

The film is all set to release in May.
