On September 29, Rishi Kapoor first tweeted about his sudden health scare and decided to take a short leave while he traveled to US for medical treatment. The veteran actor also asked well-wishers to not speculate.
While away, he made constant cameos on wife Neetu Kapoor’s Instagram account chilling with Ranbir and Alia Bhatt. Neetu, recently shared a picture with husband Rishi Kapoor and few family members. She hinted at them traveling back to India soon.
She captioned the photo, “One of the Quintet leaves !! Will miss you @rimosky will soon be on the same flight back.”
When overnight Rishi Kappor’s hair turned grey in his pictures, fans were upset and began speculating about his health on social media. To clear the air Rishi revealed that the hair is actually for a role in an untitled film. He wrote, “This is to dispel all notions and wrong speculations of my hair turning grey/white overnight. My hair was dyed by Awan Contractor for a film produced by Honey Trehan and Sony pictures directed by Hitesh Bhatia. The film is untitled. Trust this clears the air.”
There have been no official announcements about his health and the sudden need for treatment but he was visited by many celebrities while away like, Priyanka Chopra, Anupam Kher, Javed Akhtar, and Sonali Bendre.
On the work front, Rishi was last seen in Mulk and Rajma Chawal. His upcoming venture with Juhi Chawla has also been put on hold indefinitely till the actor returns after his treatment.
