Harvashvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane starrer Sanam Teri Kasam was re-released last month. The film received a fantastic response at the box office, and according to Sacnilk, it went on to collect more than Rs. 33 crore during its re-release. When the movie was originally released in 2016, it had collected Rs. 9.11 crore and was a disaster. If we talk about movies that have been re-released, Sanam Teri Kasam is the highest grosser till now. Before that it was Tummbad which had collected around Rs. 32 crore.
Now, Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer Namastey London is all set for a re-release. The movie will hit the big screens during Holi weekend. Akshay took to X to inform his fans about it.
The actor posted, "Thrilled to announce the re-release of #NamasteyLondon on the big screen this Holi, 14th March! Get ready to relive the magic — unforgettable songs, iconic dialogues and timeless romance with Katrina Kaif, all over again. See you at the movies!"
Well, fans of Akshay and Katrina are super excited for the re-release of Namastey London. But, the question is will the movie be able to beat Sanam Teri Kasam at box office?
Namastey London is aleady a hit film. When it was released in 2007, the film had collected Rs. 37.29 crore. Many Hindi films like Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Dil To Pagal Hai, Laila Majnu and others have been re-released in the past few years. While some received a good response, some were ignored by the audiences.

Namastey London needs to collect more than Rs. 33 crore to beat Sanam Teri Kasam's re-release box office collection. It is a holiday, and in Bollywood there's only one major release, The Diplomat which is more like a multiplex film. So, of course, in the single screens, Akshay and Katrina starrer can make a strong mark.
So, let's wait and watch!
