From winning hearts with his unbeatable comic and versatile appearances, Satish is back again with another role to tickle our funny bones. He’s also awaiting feedback for his performance in the film from the audience. In the film, Namaste England, the sequel to Namastey London, Satish plays a role of a Sardar who is a travel agent and he sends people abroad illegally. He is a sharp business man who sweetly traps people into his folds in no time. Character is really funny and colourful according to Satish.
Character appeal
On asking if this time again you are going to make the audience happy, Satish says, “I’m sure people will like my character and I will be able to bring smile to their faces. You have to see my printed shirts and windcheater, which will bring a lot of authenticity to the character of a travel agent in Amritsar.”
He further adds, “Even though the character is a little loud and seen in bright and colourful clothes with heavy prints, everyone will enjoy the moment.” He will also be seen wearing colorful turbans.
Production plans
Talking about his other projects, Satish is focusing more on his production house – The Satish Kaushik Entertainment. He says it is very active now and this year they will complete four films directed by various directors. And about his Radio show, Filmy Calender Show has completed three seasons and now they are gearing up for the fourth one. Satish says, “People are glued to the radio from 7pm-8 pm on Radio Nasha to hear this show and wherever I go I get a lot of compliments for the show from my fans.”
Co-star bonding
Working with the actors like Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra, Satish’s experience has been unbelievable. “I really had a blast working with Arjun. He has played in my lap as a kid and here he is shooting with me as an actor where he is the hero… how time flies?” Since Satish has had all his scenes with Arjun Kapoor, he felt amazing to see him grow up into a brilliant actor.
Parineeti is not just full of heart and happiness, but is also real and a natural actor. Working for the first time with her, Satish shared, “Working for the first time with her even though I knew her because I was friends with her uncle Dr Ashok Chopra and used to bump into her at his house. But I saw her there for the first time singing a song and she was amazing and always knew that she will take up acting as a profession.”
