Ever since Salman Khan decided she should become an actress, Sonakshi Sinha has been working round the clock. Her cup has always been filled to the brim and yet, she for one has not been complaining about too much work.
Sonakshi would be seen in Prabhu Deva’s next ‘Action Jackson’ which stars Ajay Devgn in the lead. While the makers are going through some trouble as the title of the film is clashing with the Hollywood film of the same name, Sonakshi on the other hand is having a blast on this film as well.
“I signed the film because the female lead was required to have a very good comic timing. Both Ajay (Devgn) and Prabhu Deva thought that I would do justice to the role. For me too it was a different thing altogether to play an out and out fun character. I know that I can be really funny in front of the camera if I wish to. This is what I have done in ‘Action Jackson’,” said Sonakshi.
With this being the third offering from the Sonakshi and Prabhu Deva team who have thus far done films like ‘Rowdy Rathore’ and ‘R..Rajkumar’, both of which were big earners at the box office ‘Action Jackson’ might just complete the hattrick for them. But Sona ain’t thinking about that as yet, she is busy enjoying her time filming with Prabhu Deva as now. After working with him so many times, she has got the hang of what he wants her to do and is chilling a bit.
“It is shaping up really well. After all, Prabhu Deva has his own space. This is my third film with him. I know how he loves to bring in all the ingredients, be it action, drama, comedy, dancing and all. He has got this particular style of filmmaking that he has stuck to and it is working well for everyone; him, audience as well as actors! Now with ‘Action Jackson’, we are taking it all forward. The film is turning out to be larger than life,” said Sonakshi.
This Sinha lass is even working on a film with Arjun Kapoor titled ‘Tevar’ which happens to be a remake of a South film. The film is being helmed by debutant director Amit Sharma who has ‘Google Reunion’ commercial to his credit.
Sonakshi, who is very confident about both her films said, “When I saw that ad, I was in tears. I have been recommending him to all. I think he is just fantastic. I am thrilled that he is directing ‘Tevar’ because there is a lot of spark in him. He is really good with what he vision and also translates that into cinema. I am sure he will bring on his own unique touch to ‘Tevar’.”
She would even be seen in ‘Holiday’ with Akshay Kumar which is all set to release. This girl is totally on a roll with releases left right and centre and with so many releases clashing releases are inevitable. Her films ‘Action Jackson’ and ‘Holiday’ will co-incidentally face a same day release that is June 6th. Now is this a double bonus for Sonakshi fans or not is what we will find out when the films hit the theatres.
