Reports about Karan Wahi getting arrested for molesting a 22 year old model started circulating on the internet, but the actor has dismissed the rumours as untrue. When Karan found out about the report, and shared a post on Instagram, assuring his fans that someone else with the same name got arrested and not him.
The actor is currently in London and has been sharing stories from his trip abroad. He uploaded three stories where he asked media portals to be careful about posting his pictures for the news, then shared a picture of the actual Karan Wahi followed by a thank you, he added, “I will now go back to enjoying my vacation”.
The actual Karan Wahi arrested is a music composer who alongside a producer named Mundhra Singh Nagar hosted a party, where a model was also invited and promised work. At the party they tried to make a move at the model to which she then filed a complaint with the police the next day. Reports suggest the model claimed she was sexually assaulted by the two after she fell asleep. The police arrested the men and booked them under section 354 of the Indian Penal Code.
