Priyanka Chopra has always been secretive about her love life and the actress, who is riding high on her success in Hollywood, says she has never been on a casual date ever, reports PTI. The 33-year-old “Quantico” actress opened up about her love life in an interview with a magazine. “I’ve never dated. I’ve always been in relationship,” Priyanka said.
The actress, who will next be seen playing main antagonist Victoria Leeds in “Baywatch,” said the concept of going on casual dates doesn’t exist in India. “It’s very different. You like someone, you court each other, you get into a relationship. You’re answerable to each other. Whereas the non-answerability of dating, my god, I don’t know if I would ever be able to,” she added. In the past Priyanka has been linked to actors Shahid Kapoor and Harman Baweja.
Speaking up on the recent rumours about the fallout between her and BFF Deepika Padukone, during an in event in Mumbai, she said, “Earlier you all (media) used to write we are BFFs (best friends forever) so why and how did this change. I did not say it (equation) has changed. You only said it has changed. I am clarifying whatever it was earlier, it is same today also. Your (media) perspective has changed and that shouldn’t have happened,” she stated.
“My career has been very solitary. I had nothing to do with anyone’s success or failure and will continue to be so,” she said. This came when the 33-year-old actress was asked for her reaction on the news that Deepika Padukone’s team is trying to get good projects for her in the West. “It doesn’t make sense for me to answer on someone else. I don’t pay attention to what others are doing,” she added.
