Tulsi Kumar has finally open up about her dad Gulshan Kumar’s biopic, Mogul hinting that the project is still on. For those unaware, Akshay Kumar was initially supposed to play Gulshan Kumar but due to some reason he left the project after which Aamir came on board.
However after director Subhash Kapoor was accused of sexual harassment in the wake of MeToo movement, even Aamir left the project and now that his next project is Lal Singh Chaddha, rumours were rife that Gulshan Kumar’s biopic is scrapped. However when we caught up with Tulsi Kumar she threw a big hint that the project is still very much on
Tulsi who will be next seen on T-series MixTape Season 2, said, “I don’t want to comment on it yet. But one thing I want to say is that this project is very close to all of us, the entire kumar family. It will be talking about my father’s journey, where he started from and how from nothing he made an empire, single handedly. It’s his story from rags to riches. We all are very emotionally attached to this project and very proud of it.”
Tulsi who became a mother of a baby boy in 2017 also shed light on how challenging it is for a woman to balance career and her baby. “You have to multi task. Being a mom is the most beautiful feeling and every person will agree with me because there is no feeling that can match up to going back to your son’s smiling face. My son for me is the most important person. But my career even after my marriage and baby, by god’s grace, is going onwards and upwards,” concluded Tulsi.
