Fukrey 2 trailer was hit among people, but the news are going round that Richa Chadha and his co-star Ali Fazal are dating each other. And this new picture from the Venice Film Festival is a proof of it. The 30-year-old actor recently flew to Venice to be with Ali at the premiere of the latter’s film Victoria and Abdul. They walked down the red carpet together at the event, thus confirming the news. Richa and Ali met on the sets of their 2013 film Fukrey and have been good friends since then. But they started dating almost a year back.
Richa took to Instagram and shared a picture from the premiere. She praised Ali for the film by writing: “Couldn’t be more proud!!! @alifazal9 ! You held your own. Magnificent in the film and in a magnificent film!”. Interestingly, it was only last year that Richa broke up with her french boyfriend Franck Gastambide whom she met at the Cannes Film Festival in 2015.
A source was quoted as telling BollywoodLife, “The two want to focus on their work and don’t want people’s attention to be drawn to their private lives. Of course, close friends were aware of their relationship status. Richa and Ali have been friends for four years now and also have a common social circle. Their friendship turned into love only about a year ago. The transition happened gradually as they are like-minded people who share similar interests, be it films or their love for theatre.”
