It was only after the release of Cocktail that the actress was back in the game and after that there was no looking back for her.
Whether it was Piku, RaamLeela, BajiRao Mastani or the recent Padmavat, Deepika’s films not only performed tremendously at the Box office but also garnered her lot of accolades for her acting. It would be not to wrong to say that Deepika is indeed on of the biggest star in Bollywood. But does she enjoy the same starry treatment at home. Well who better than Deepika’s dad Prakash Padukone to answer that?
Apparently the father-daughter duo was guest on India Today’s chat show. In the same episode, they discussed Deepika’s journey in in the film industry in detail. The channel released the episode’s small promo where Prakash Padukone has been asked whether Deepika enjoys the starry treatment at her home.
To which Prakash Padukone said, “Absolutely, you can ask anybody who visits us on a daily basis. Absolutely Not. If somebody comes then they’ll have to remind us that she is a star otherwise we are like normal people. So, there’s absolutely no tantrums, she’s never treated like a star. She doesn’t expect it and we won’t do that also.”
Deepika will be next seen in Meghna Gulzar’s biopic based on acid attack survivor Laxmi Aggarwal.
