Comedian and actress Mallika Dua recently took to Instagram to express her frustration with the Mumbai entertainment industry's demanding nature. She not only criticised Mumbai but also expressed her love for Delhi. In a sharp yet humourous post, she criticised the expectation of being available for last-minute meetings despite the Mumbai's crumbling infrastructure.
On Thursday (April 3), Mallika shared several stunning pictures of Delhi, including India Gate, Sunder Nursery, and Lodhi Garden.
Along with the photos, she wrote, "This Mumbai entertainment industry has some serious guts expecting me to stay away from THIS just so I can be available for a 'quick meeting' at an hour's notice via roads even more irreparably broken than the spirits of comedians. Chal hatt," she wrote.
Adding a playful touch, Mallika captioned her post, "Feeling cityriotic, might delete never. Also, please feel free to do Delhi vs Mumbai ladai in comments, I could do with the engagement, that's all that matters in the world. God bless."
Soon after Mallika shared the post, her fans and followers flooded the comments with the classic Delhi vs Mumbai debate. While some agreed with her take on Mumbai's chaotic roads and unpredictable schedules, others defended the city’s fast-paced charm.
