Eddie Redmayne to play Newt Scamander in `Harry Potter` prequel

Washington: Eddie Redmayne will be taking on the role of Newt Scamander in the ‘Harry Potter’ prequel ‘Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them’. Warner Bros. has confirmed the that ‘The Theory Of Everything’ Oscar winning star will be gracing the next fantasy film, that will release in 3D and Imax in November 2016, Deadline.com has reported. J.K. Rowling will be debuting as a screenwriter in this flick, which will be directed by David Yates and produced by David Heyman.
