Earlier we reported of Amitabh Bachchan to have a special scene in Kajol’s upcoming film Helicopter Eela. The film’s director Pradeep Sarkar recently proved how committed he is to his job and that the show must go on. The acclaimed filmmaker was undergoing treatment for dengue at a suburban hospital, but took a leave to shoot with Big B.
Amitabh Bachchan’s cameo scene was scheduled to be shot on August 14, but Sarkar had been admitted to Lilavati Hospital since August 11. The film’s crew was worried about the situation since the legendary actor had already committed his dates in the coming weeks for other assignments. With postponing not available as an option Sarkar ensured that he got leave from the hospital for a few hours to shoot Big B’s scenes at a studio in Andheri.
At the end of the shoot, Sarkar drove back to the hospital, who might be discharged by tomorrow. Helicopter Eela also stars National Award winning actor Riddhi Sen and will hit the screen on September 14.
