Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone got married on November 14 i.e. yesterday in Konkani style wedding. The duo tied a knot in the presence of around 40 guests at Lake Como, Italy. DeepVeer’s wedding was as per Konkani-Brahmin traditions. Hence, right from clothing to food, everything was authentic in nature. As per Miss Malini, present guests were served traditional Konkani Mangalorean delicacies like Pooran Poli, Rasam after the wedding. Interestingly, the delicacies were served at beautiful dining décor Casta Diva resort, with its pictures getting viral on the social media.

Earlier, during the Nandi Puja in India, guests were served Dalitoy, Bibbe Upkari, Kosambari and Puliogare on a banana leaf. At the traditional Konkani wedding, Deepika donned a red and gold lehenga whereas, Ranveer Singh was dressed in a white kurta and a mundu. Apart from Konkani wedding, Ranveer and Deepika will also get married again today in Sindhi style. The couple’s Anand Karaj ceremony is going to be the special one as the venue will be decked up with red floral arrangements. Ranveer and Deepika will host a party after the wedding ceremony.
After this grand wedding in Italy, the Ram Leela couple will be hosting a grand reception party on November 21 and 28 in Bengaluru and Mumbai respectively. Bengaluru reception will be for Deepika Padukone’s close relative while Mumbai reception will be for Bollywood celebrities. For the Mumbai reception, celebrities expected include Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Karan Johar and Farah Khan.
