News is that Picture House Media Ltd, a leading media and entertainment house based out of Chennai and Hyderabad has initiated Court Proceedings against actress Shruti Hassan.Shruti after signing the agreement to be the female lead in a bilingual starring Nagarjuna and Karthi directed by Vamsi Paidipalli, wanted to exit the project abruptly.
Following which Picture House Media Ltd initiated both civil and criminal proceedings against the actress. What’s more, it’s being said that the Honourable Judge has taken cognisance of this civil offence and issued an injunction restraining her from signing any new movie until further orders. Meanwhile, for the criminal offence the Police have been instructed to investigate the
matter.
Speaking about the same, Shruti Hassan’s spokesperson said, “Shruti or Rajkamal films International or her team have not received any legal notice or injunction from anyone.”
