Neeraj Goyat, professional boxer and Bigg Boss OTT 3 contestant, is all set to replace Asim Riaz on the fitness reality show Battleground after the latter's heated clash with co-judges Rubina Dilaik and Abhishek Malhan aka Fukra Insaan, which reportedly led to his removal from the show. Reacting to the reports, Asim claimed he "kicked the script and flipped the game."
At the end of the latest episode, a preview revealed host Kashish Kapoor announcing that Asim Riaz would no longer be part of the show. Soon after, Neeraj entered with several bodyguards, making a smashing entry with his hoodie covering his face. This left the contestants and judges confused, trying to guess whose face it was—until Neeraj revealed his identity. Rubina Dilaik then asked him if he was the one who had challenged Abhishek and Rajat.

To this, Rajat hits back saying, "Main toh thappad thappad mein behosh kar deta hoon, mujhe boxing ki zarurat hi nahi." Neeraj responds, saying it would take him less than four minutes to make Rajat lose.
Rajat doesn't hold back, saying, "Aapko itna bhoot hai na, toh main utar ke bhej sakta hoon. Bhai, ucchal gaya toh sir pe pata nahi kya kya rakh sakta hoon wahan pe." Neeraj then approaches Rajat, and the two get into a heated verbal argument, which looks like it's about to turn physical.
Earlier, Asim reacted to being kicked out of Battleground, taking to X (formerly known as Twitter) he wrote, "Paid media ain’t got a spine, just a rate card. They print what they’re told, I move when I decide. Keep shouting 'kicked out', I kicked the script and flipped the game. Next headline? Make it count."
Before this post, Asim shared another photo of himself from the set and wrote, "SCRIPTED."
