However, this September the tide will favour all her loved ones as she takes on A R Murugadoss’ AKIRA. The film is all action and Sonakshi is really ready to kick some ass.
“I have a lot of people telling me that they cannot believe i have not had a single film release for over a year but then, i have to admit while i got into it thinking i am easing out on my work scene, i have never been more busy in my life. I have suddenly got so much to do and i have already done so much. Be it television or music albums, it hasn’t at all been a relaxing vacation i thought it would be though i did make it a point to take a couple of vacations while i was at it!” Sonakshi laughed as she ‘fessed it up.
“For a long time it as perceived that Sonakshi is only into me-too roles and doing nothing very substantial. She as often paired opposite much older heroes and the whole experience she as leaving behind wasn’t as impressive as her first film DABANGG. She has a very good command over the language, she can emote beautifully with her eyes, these are things that are not getting tapped at all. So hence it as important that she reinvented herself. Seeing the way the industry is reacting to her, i am sure it will be a roaring and thundering applauses for the Sinha baby,” quipped the trade analyst when asked about how Brand Sonakshi is doing off late, thanks to the hiatus.
