Arjun Kapoor who is known for his calm and chilled attitude recently blasted out at haters on Twitter for trolling his sister Anshula Kapoor on social media for not helping half-sister Janhvi Kapoor on Koffee With Karan 6. Taking to Twitter, Arjun wrote, “Something I assumed was an absolute non-issue on Koffee with Karan has escalated into @anshulakapoor being abused & I can’t be bothered by protocol anymore. F**k all those trolls who wish harm to my sister. I hope ur mom or sister never have to go thru what u have put us thru…”
Apparently, Janhvi Kapoor and Arjun had recently appeared on Koffee With Karan where they played a game in which both of them had to call a member from Kapoor family and ask them to say, “Hey Karan it’s me.” Everything was going well but when Janhvi called Anshula, Arjun told his sister not to say it if she wants him to come back home. Then what, Anshula didn’t say the words and Arjun ended up winning the game. Though it was a fun game but haters couldn’t stop themselves to troll the star kid.
In a recent interaction at Priyanka Chopra hosted a live-athon at Facebook’s Mumbai office, Janhvi Kapoor herself revealed that Anshula got rape threats, post Koffee With Karan’s episode aired on TV. She quoted as saying Hindustan Times, “You want to protect the people in your life. Like for example my sister actually just recently got trolled on social media. She did something silly on Koffee with Karan and started getting like rape threats and stuff. And it was just weird to me. As people are faceless on social media, they feel they can have opinions that sometimes cross a moral line. So when I put stuff that’s personal up on social media, I do think of that too. I feel protective towards them. what people might say about them or about my equation with them. You tend to be guarded.”
