Actress and former Bigg Boss contestant Ankita Lokhande recently made headlines for rewearing a 14-year-old Manish Malhotra outfit. In her latest vlog on YouTube, Ankita revealed that she originally purchased the designer suit in 2011 with her hard-earned money.
She recently wore the same outfit while attending an event in Agra with her husband, businessman Vicky Jain.
"Ye suit 2011 ka hai, tab ye maine Manish Malhotra ka pehla suit khareeda tha apni mehnat se. Aaj hum kitne bhi kapde khareed le, lekin ye mera pehla suit tha kamayi ka (This suit is from 2011. Back then, this was the first Manish Malhotra outfit I bought with my hard-earned money. No matter how many clothes I buy today, this will always be my first suit from my earnings)," Ankita shared in her vlog, expressing nostalgia and pride over the outfit.
Following the vlog's release, netizens were quick to dig up an old video from 2014, where Ankita was seen wearing the same dress while receiving an award for her performance in Pavitra Rishta.
The throwback clip went viral, with fans applauding her for valuing sentimental fashion over fleeting trends.

Ankita had opted for a Manish Malhotra lehenga for her wedding as well. Ankita and Vicky tied the knot in December 2021.
The actress chose a regal golden lehenga, intricately embellished with heavy embroidery and sequin work, exuding timeless elegance. Her bridal ensemble was paired with exquisite jewellry, including a statement choker, maang tikka, and a delicate nath (nose ring), adding to her royal look.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ankita was last seen in the film Swatantrya Veer Savarkar with Randeep Hooda. Presently, she, along with Vicky, is seen in Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment.
