Yesterday rumours of the Kesari actor Akshay Kumar contesting Lok Sabha elections surfaced the internet, when he tweeted about entering uncharted territory. But buzz has emerged that the actor actually interviewed our current PM Narendra Modi.
Reports suggested that Akshay Kumar was likely to contest elections on Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) ticket from Punjab’s Gurdaspur or from New Delhi, but the actor quickly set the rumours to rest on twitter.
So the truth behind Akshay donning a new hat was of a journalist, the actor has recorded an interview with The Prime Minister. This will be the first full length interview given by him to a celebrity. A report in Hindustan Times suggests the interview will not be about politics.
Akshay hasn’t confirmed the interview but he is known to have a warm relationship with Narendra Modi. Along side Paresh Rawal, he had met Narendra Modi back in 2013 to discuss the development of a Sports University in the state of Gujarat.
